Upcoming Mission Trip - 2025

We’re thrilled to announce our next mission trip, scheduled for 2025! After a five-year hiatus, this trip marks our first opportunity to reconnect with our cherished partners in Africa. Here’s what you need to know:
Travel Itinerary
• Departure: We’ll fly from Toronto to Atlanta, then continue to Johannesburg. From there, we’ll take a connecting flight to Ndola, Zambia, where our partners will greet us and escort us to the guest house at Fiwale Hill Mission, located 35 km south of Ndola.
• Zambia Stay: We will spend 3–4 days in Zambia working with our partners at Fiwale Hill.
• South Africa Stay: After Zambia, we’ll fly to Port Elizabeth, rent a vehicle, and drive 2.5 hours to Adelaide. There, we’ll assist at a Christian School serving some of the most disadvantaged children and young adults with developmental challenges. We’ll stay approximately 4 days in Adelaide.
Packing Tips

• Pack Lightly: We encourage participants to bring minimal personal items to allow space for carrying much-needed goods to the communities we will visit.
• Weather Considerations:
• South Africa: Temperatures can vary widely at this time of year. Warm clothing is essential, as temperatures may drop below freezing in the evenings, particularly if there is snow on the Drakensberg Mountains near Adelaide.
• General: Be prepared for both cold nights and hot days.

Trip Cost
​
The cost of this trip is approximately C$4,000.00 per person. This can be self-funded, or you may seek sponsorships to help cover the cost. Sponsors will receive tax-deductible receipts, which can be submitted to Revenue Canada for a refund when reporting income.
What Do These Funds Cover?
The cost includes the following:
• Airfares: All flights, including international and in-country connections.
• In-Country Transport: Ground transportation to and from project sites and accommodations.
• Meals: All meals are included throughout the trip.
• Accommodations: Comfortable and safe housing during your stay.
• Project Donations: A contribution toward the cost of the projects we’ll be working on.
• Excursions: Costs for planned excursions or activities included in the itinerary.
What Is Not Covered?
• Immunizations: Any vaccines required before departing Canada.
• Souvenirs: Personal mementos or gifts purchased during the trip.
• Personal Items: Any additional items or expenses an individual may want during the trip.
