Who We Are

Amped 2 Go is a registered not-for-profit charity accountable to the Canadian Revenue Agency. With a strong commitment to accountability and integrity, our organization is governed by a dedicated board of directors composed of men and women with a passion for God and global missions.
All financial contributions to Amped 2 Go are tax-deductible, and spending is restricted to approved programs and projects. Contributions designated for specific programs or projects will be used as directed, with the understanding that if the need has been met or a project cannot proceed, the remaining funds will be redirected to where they are most needed.
Our Leadership

President: Shaun

Shaun serves as the President of Amped 2 Go, bringing his deep passion and vision for equipping individuals to share their leadership abilities in Africa. He leads efforts to inspire, mobilize, and engage Canadians in cross-cultural leadership exchanges. Shaun is available to speak at youth meetings, retreats, small groups, and churches, sharing the vision of Amped 2 Go and encouraging others to participate in these transformative opportunities.
International Executive Director: David

Born to missionary parents, David grew up in Zambia and later returned to South Africa, where his parents served as missionaries around Johannesburg. He and his wife, Ann—also from a missionary family—established their home at Treverton College, where David taught Biblical Studies for 16 years.
In December 1998, David and Ann moved to Canada to pastor the Don Valley Bible Chapel in Toronto. After nine years, David led the oldest mission in Canada for two years before becoming pastor at Fair Havens Community Church, where he continues to serve.
With his rich experience in leadership, pastoral work, and mission service, David is well-prepared to guide Amped 2 Go in advancing its mission of creating opportunities for young Canadians to engage in leadership exchanges in Africa.
Together, Shaun and David bring a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to lead Amped 2 Go in its mission to inspire and equip others to share their gifts and faith across cultures.
