Board of Directors
Amped 2 Go is a registered not for profit charity registered with the Canadian Revenue Agency and is accountable to them.
Accountability and integrity are keys to our success. AMPED 2 GO organization is managed by a board of directors comprised of men and women with a heart for God and missions. All financial contributions to AMPED 2 GO are tax deductible.
Spending of funds is confined to approved programs and projects. Each restricted contribution designated towards an approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the board, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.
President
Born of missionary parents, David was raised primarily in Zambia. At the age of 16 his parents returned to South Africa, his homeland to work as missionaries around Johannesburg.
David met and married his wife Ann, also of missionary parents and the two set up home at Treverton College where David taught for 16 years primarily in the area of Biblical Studies.
In Dec 1998 David and Ann answered an invitation to pastor the Don Valley Bible Chapel in Toronto, Canada. After a nine year ministry David led the oldest mission in Canada for two years before moving as pastor of Fair Havens Community Church where he currently serves.
David is well-equipped and experienced to lead Amped 2 Go into a future mission advancing opportunities for young Canadians to engage in leadership exchange in Africa where we operate.
International Director
Shaun directs the field activities of Amped2Go speaking and contacting individuals and churches to share the vision Jesus gave him and mobilize others to share in the rich and deep opportunities of sharing their leadership abilities with others in Africa and gaining an intercultural leadership experience by going to another country.
Shaun would welcome an opportunity to speak at Youth meetings, retreats, small groups and churches who are interested in sharing their leadership experiences with those in the church in Africa.
